BBQ

At the river we have a grill hut where you can sit and make a fire or a bbq. Outside there is also a larger barbecue you can use.

Picking berries

Blueberries, raspberries, multebær, tuttebær, you can pick pockets full. We have convenient berry picking (a box which allows you can pick) waiting for you.

Boats

Would you like to cross the river on for a ride or to fish? We have boats for rent with and without motor.

Sandwich service

We bake fresh bread rolls every morning. Order them just a day in advance and in the winter we get the sandwiches at your cottage or room so that you can continue staying in your pajamas.

Gapahuken

At the river is an indoor fire place where you can sit around a campfire.

Wood

At the reception we have bags fo wood (60 l) for your wood burning stove, for the grill hut or eg. for a campfire.

Campfire

Social gathering around the fire? We have several places for you, where you have open and covered campfires.

Kiosk

at the reception we sell things for everyday use and also yummy ice cream!

Baby cot/chair

We have baby cots and high chairs for our smallest guests.

Mountainbike

We have mountain bikes ready for you to use for free for an active trip (some routes start at our place in the park) or a message in the village (2 km). At the reception we have booklets with many beautiful cycling routes.

Sauna

By the river there is a small wood-fired sauna (6 people) that we would like to heat for you. Please book in advance.

Shuttle service

Are you coming by bus to Trysil? It is a 3 km walk from the bus station, but we can surely pick you up.

Ski shuttle

In winter, the free ski bus stops in front of our door. The bus arrives in the morning 3 times and brings you into the evening back to us.

Playground

Our little guests can have fun in the playground with the sandpit, swing and slide or have fun on the trampoline.

Tourist information

At our reception we have all the information about the local area and activities. We will be pleased to help you with planning a fun day.

Fish-café

Every week we organize a meeting during the fishing season for our fish guests. Our fishing guide Chris Haider tells you where you can find the best spots to catch some fish, which flies you should use that week and answer all your questions.

Fishing

From June to October, Trysil Hyttegrend is the fishing centre of Trysil. More information here. At the reception we sell fishing licenses.

Walks

Directly from the park you can make 2 beautiful walks of 1.9 km and 5.7 km along the mountain stream Øråa. At the reception we have booklets with many beautiful hiking trails.

Washing machine

We have a laundry room with a washing machine where you can hang your laundry.

WiFi

By 2016 we have the whole WiFi network strengthened. Would you like to watch a movie or work a little bit: on the entire park you have an excellent connection.

Swimming beach

At the river we have a swimming beach and a grass field. You can play or go for a swim in the water. Don't go too far because there can be a strong current of the river!
